Blizzard has confirmed World of Warcraft's full BlizzCon 2026 programming, running September 12 and 13, with a lineup spanning forward-looking developer panels, esports finals, streamer activities, and Twitch rewards for viewers at home and on-site attendees alike.
Day One opens with the Opening Ceremony at 10:30 a.m. PDT, followed by World of Warcraft: What's Next at noon and a second installment, What's Next II, at 2:45 p.m. Blizzard is also running a Building Cutscenes session at 2 p.m. showing the pipeline from storyboard to final polish, a Developers x Creators Showcase at 3:30 p.m., and a Community Night closing out the day at 4:45 p.m.
Day Two leans more systemic, with a Deep Dive panel at 10 a.m. followed by dedicated sessions on housing, world building, art design, and a broader design deep dive - useful context alongside ongoing discussion of the current Midnight content cycle. A Hardcore: What's Next panel runs at 4:15 p.m. before Blizzard President Johanna Faries delivers closing remarks at 5:20 p.m. The Le Sserafim performance at 6 p.m. is exclusive to in-person attendees and will not be livestreamed.
Esports and Viewer Rewards
Both days carry heavy esports billing, with MDI 2026 Grand Finals matches and a championship bout on Day One, and Arena World Championship quarterfinal-through-championship matches plus a trophy ceremony on Day Two. Streamer schedules run throughout both days, with in-person meet-and-greets in Hall A, and eligible Warcraft streams on Twitch will grant viewer rewards - attendees need to link their BlizzCon Pass to a Battle.net account by September 18 to claim everything available.
Not all programming will stream, and Blizzard notes the schedule may update after the Opening Ceremony, directing viewers to BlizzCon.com for the finalized lineup and viewership details.
