StarSeries Fall 2026 is a CS2 esports tournament by StarLadder. It runs from Sept. 17 to Sept. 20, featuring double-elimination brackets for eight participating teams.
StarLadder returned to organizing regular events after a few-year break. In 2025, we could witness StarSeries Fall, with only NAVI as a truly big team in the mix. Also, StarLadder treated the Counter-Strike community to a really awesome Budapest Major 2026.
This year, StarLadder StarSeries Fall has a few top dogs battling for the $500,000 prize pool. The event takes place in Barcelona, Spain.

Redemption arc for big CS2 teams
Following the tournament results in the post-Cologne Major period, MOUZ are the biggest favorites at StarSeries Fall 2026. They won BLAST Bounty Summer 2026. MOUZ were second at BLAST Open in Porto: defeated their demons from Vitality but lost to Spirit.
With two new players in the roster, MOUZ confirmed they can win events — and consistency is the next point to prove for them.
Team Vitality can’t hit their level from 2025 and even from the first half of 2026. They were in the top 8 at the CS2 Esports World Cup 2026. Vitality reached the top 4 at BLAST Open Porto with a stand-in player, Justinas “jL” Lekavičius.
William “mezii” Merriman is back for StarSeries Fall 2026, and fans anticipate a return to proper glory from the squad.
It feels like FURIA players have settled within the top 4 / top 6 placements. Roster changes are inevitable with the departure of Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo at the end of this year. FURIA certainly should aim to break through this limitation and win an event.
At EWC 2026, FURIA finished 4th. With a good promise of that result, the team could not go further than the top 6 at FISSURE Playground #3, and that tournament had much fewer top teams among the participants.
Building new synergy and recovering from the abyss
Aurora Gaming signed two new players and a coach in July 2026, breaking the all-Turkish roster. Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo came from MOUZ. Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski left Team Falcons. Ashley “ashhh” Battye was a coach at GamerLegion.
The changes caused a substantial drop in results: from the top 4 at the IEM Cologne Major to not qualifying for BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 after losing to FOKUS. The new Aurora roster looks better now, climbing up: the top 9–12 at the EWC and the top 8 at BLAST Open Fall 2026.
NAVI’s recent results are disastrous, and many fans are talking about the need for roster changes. A decent performance at StarSeries Fall 2026 is absolutely crucial for the team.
NAVI couldn’t make it out of the groups at the EWC. Losing to M80 at BLAST Open Fall 2026 was way too much for players of this level.
As a tournament organizer, StarLadder is working on the tier-2 series Stake Ranked. Its Episode 4 takes place from Oct. 1 to Oct. 4 in Barcelona, Spain, featuring very interesting teams in their crisis period: FaZe and Astralis.
The next top-tier tournament is ESL Pro League Season 24. It is scheduled to run from Oct. 3 to Oct. 11, bringing CS2 action to Spodek Arena in Katowice, Poland.
