Overwatch Team Drives ranks, rewards, and how everything works

Team Drives are now live in Overwatch Season 4. This first Overwatch Team Drives event goes from Sept. 4 to Sept. 6. Here is esports.gg’s guide on everything you need to know about Team Drives, Fame, and all of the different rewards.

What are Team Drives in Overwatch?

In Overwatch, Team Drives refer to a limited-time competitive event where wins grant you Fame. The winning team is automatically grouped up when a match ends as well. Fame then increases your Gladiator Rank, which unlocks Competitive Points and unique frames for your player card.

You can also unlock a temporary player title called “#1 Gladiator” if you’re among the first 1,000 teams to finish the event.

Overwatch Team Drives ranks and rewards

Here are all of the Team Drives ranks and rewards. There are seven ranks in total, and the more Fame you earn, the better the rewards.

• Rank 1 (0-149 Fame): 500 Competitive Points
• Rank 2 (150-299 Fame): Level 1 player card frame
• Rank 3 (300-449 Fame): 1,000 Competitive Points
• Rank 4 (450-599 Fame): Level 2 player card frame
• Rank 5 (600-799 Fame): 1,500 Competitive Points
• Rank 6 (800-999 Fame): Level 3 player card frame
• Rank 7 (3/4 wins): Level 4 player card frame and #1 Gladiator player title

How Fame works in Overwatch Team Drives

Fame is based on winning, losing, and staying in your Overwatch Team Drives group. Wins grant you 100 Fame, and you can gain +50% more Fame if your next match includes at least one of the players from your winning game.

Each player you stay grouped with beyond the first match grants an additional bonus that goes up to +100%, too. These bonuses stack, allowing you to gain up to 300 Fame.

If you lose a match, then you lose some Fame and the streak bonuses reset. The higher your Overwatch Team Drives rank, the more Fame is at risk.
