The CS2 esports event FISSURE Playground #3 runs from Sept. 8 to Sept. 13 in Suzhou, China. It features a group stage and single-elimination playoffs, with 16 teams in the lineup.
Originally, Playground #3 was planned for April, but FISSURE postponed it. The action still happens thanks to the new partnership with GGMEDIA — delaying two other tournaments by this organizer.
Some of the strongest teams on the global CS2 scene have joined the revived Playground. G2 Esports, FURIA, Legacy, and FaZe are among the biggest favorites.

Results of FISSURE Playground #3
All 16 participating teams are divided into two groups to play through double-elimination brackets. Each group has three playoff slots: two for upper brackets and one for lower brackets.
Group winners advance to the semifinals. Second and third placements start the playoffs from the quarterfinals. FISSURE Playground #3 features a third-place match, too.

Six teams to follow at Counter-Strike 2 FISSURE Playground #3
FURIA were second at the IEM Cologne Major and reached the top 4 at BLAST Open in Porto.
The team won FISSURE Playground #2, which happened back in September 2025.
G2 Esports enjoyed the top 8 placements at a few recent CS2 events, including the Esports World Cup 2026 (EWC 2026). With no Vitality or Spirit in the mix, G2 are among the top trophy contenders.
The new roster of FaZe Clan played really well at the CS2 EWC 2026. They were in the top 4 at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026.
Legacy were true heroes of the EWC 2026, reaching the top 3. At the BLAST Open Fall 2026, Legacy made even Falcons and Vitality nervous.
The MongolZ are still looking for good synergy for their refreshed roster. Playground #3 is a good opportunity for them to shine.
Astralis were pretty strong at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026, reaching the top 4. The roster has had enough practice to climb even higher.
The next CS2 tournament on the calendar also features a partial presence of top-tier teams. StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 runs from Sept. 17 to Sept. 20 in Barcelona, Spain. Vitality, MOUZ, NAVI, and FURIA are among the participants.
